Effective date: 5 July 2026 Operator: Craftolin ("Craftolin", "we", "us", "our") Between: Craftolin and the Customer using a customer account.
This Agreement governs your use of Craftolin as a Customer. It supplements the Terms & Conditions and Marketplace Policy.
1. Your Account
1.1 You register using email/password or Google Sign-In and must provide accurate information.
1.2 You may maintain a profile including name, phone number, avatar, and a reusable delivery profile (address line, street, city, state, PIN/ZIP) used to auto-fill requests.
2. Using the Marketplace
2.1 You can browse and search products (by category, hashtags, price, partner), view Trending items and partner profiles, save items to your Wishlist, and view similar-creator suggestions.
2.2 Craftolin is a marketplace intermediary. The product you order is sold by an independent Partner, not by Craftolin.
3. Placing a Requirement and Ordering
3.1 You start a transaction by submitting a Requirement against a product, with details such as quantity, required delivery date, delivery city and PIN code, customization details, and event type.
3.2 The Partner may request your contact. Sharing your phone number is voluntary and within your control; share it only if you are comfortable doing so.
3.3 Agreement code: after you and the Partner agree terms, the Partner generates a 4-digit in-app code which you read in the app and relay back to the Partner. This confirms the agreement. Do not relay the code until you are satisfied with the terms, price, refund conditions, and delivery commitment.
3.4 When the Partner accepts, an Order is created and you can track its status. The Partner's full contact details become available to you when the order is In Progress.
3.5 24-hour expiry: if the Partner does not respond to your Requirement within 24 hours, it is automatically rejected and no order is created.
3.6 No in-app cancellation after acceptance: once an order is accepted you cannot cancel it in the app; resolve any change directly with the Partner.
4. Payments
4.1 You pay the Partner directly (e.g., advance or on delivery) using the method you agree. Craftolin does not collect, hold, or process your payment and never asks for card or bank details in-app.
4.2 Prices, taxes, and any delivery charges are set by the Partner. Confirm them before agreeing. Refunds are handled by the Partner — see Refund Policy.
5. Delivery
5.1 Delivery is performed by the Partner. Estimated timelines are indicative, especially for custom items. See Delivery Policy.
6. Reviews
6.1 After an order you may leave an honest review and rating (1–5). Partners may also review you (two-sided). Reviews must follow the Community Guidelines.
7. Messaging
7.1 You may chat in-app with Partners. Use messaging respectfully and lawfully.
8. Important Events and Reminders
8.1 You may save important events and dates (e.g., birthdays, anniversaries) with optional notes. This information is private to you, is never shown to Partners, and is used to send you reminders (around 15 and 7 days before) via push and in-app notification.
9. Notifications
9.1 You receive push and in-app notifications for workflow updates, chat messages, and your event reminders. You can control push notifications in your device settings.
10. Your Responsibilities
10.1 Provide accurate delivery details, deal honestly with Partners, pay as agreed, and protect any Partner contact details shared with you (use them only for your order).
11. Account Deletion
11.1 You may request deletion of your account and data per the Account Deletion Policy.
12. Liability
12.1 Craftolin is an intermediary and is not responsible for the products, conduct, payments, or deliveries of Partners. See Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability.
13. Governing Law
13.1 Governed by the laws of India; jurisdiction at Bengaluru, India.
