This policy describes how the Craftolin marketplace works and the roles and responsibilities of those who use it.
1. The Marketplace Model
1.1 Craftolin provides an online marketplace that connects Customers with independent Partners (creators/makers/sellers).
1.2 Craftolin acts only as an intermediary that lists Partners' products and facilitates communication and the request/order workflow. Craftolin:
- is not the seller or manufacturer of any product;
- does not own, inspect, or take custody of products;
- does not process or hold payments;
- does not provide delivery; and
- is not a party to the contract between Customer and Partner.
1.3 The contract for any product is solely between the Customer and the Partner.
2. Roles
2.1 Customers
Browse and search products, view partner profiles, save items to a wishlist, submit Requirements, share contact details if they choose, agree terms with Partners, track orders, chat, and leave reviews.
2.2 Partners
Maintain a business profile, declare delivery coverage, publish products (within subscription limits), receive and respond to Requirements, run the agreement/order workflow, update order status, record payment details, and leave reviews.
2.3 Admin
Craftolin operates internal administrative functions to verify partners and moderate products and listings for safety and policy compliance.
3. Listings and Product Standards
3.1 Partners are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of their listings, including descriptions, images, prices, categories, and delivery estimates.
3.2 Prohibited and restricted items, and content standards, are set out in the Community Guidelines. Craftolin may make listings invisible, mark them unavailable/deleted, or remove them, and may unverify or restrict Partners that breach policy.
4. The Request → Order Workflow
4.1 A Customer submits a Requirement; the Partner may request contact and the Customer may share it; the parties agree terms and confirm via an in-app agreement code; the Partner accepts to create an Order; the order then progresses to completion. See Terms & Conditions §4.
4.2 24-hour auto-expiry: Requirements not answered by the Partner within 24 hours are automatically rejected.
4.3 No in-app cancellation after acceptance: accepted orders must be resolved between the parties directly.
5. Payments and Settlement
5.1 Payments are direct between Customer and Partner, off-platform. Craftolin records payment details for tracking only. See Refund Policy.
6. Reviews, Ratings, and Reputation
6.1 The marketplace uses two-sided reviews and computed partner metrics (average rating, total reviews, average delivery days, completion rate) to support trust. Reviews must comply with the Community Guidelines.
7. Search, Trending, and Suggestions
7.1 Products can be discovered via search and filters (category, hashtags, price, partner) and via Trending and similar-creator suggestions. These are based on listing data and simple popularity/sorting signals; Craftolin does not guarantee ranking outcomes and does not run paid placement at this time.
8. Fees
8.1 Use of the marketplace by Customers is free. Partners may pay for subscription plans (see Subscription Terms). Craftolin does not currently charge a per-transaction commission within the app.
9. Responsibilities and Liability
9.1 Customers and Partners are responsible for their own conduct, content, transactions, payments, and deliveries. Craftolin's role and liability limits are set out in the Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability.
10. Enforcement
Craftolin may investigate suspected violations and take action including content removal, feature restriction, suspension, or termination, consistent with the Terms & Conditions.
