Effective date: 5 July 2026 Operator: Craftolin ("Craftolin", "we", "us", "our") Public deletion-request URL: https://craftolin.com/legal/account-deletion-policy
This policy explains how to delete your Craftolin account and what happens to your data. It is provided to meet Google Play's account-deletion requirements and the DPDP Act, 2023.
1. Your Right to Delete Your Account
You may delete your Craftolin account (Customer or Partner) at any time. Deleting your account ends your access to the platform.
2. How to Request Deletion
Option A — Web request (available to everyone, including without the app): Visit https://craftolin.com/legal/account-deletion-policy and submit your registered email. This satisfies Google Play's requirement for a web-based deletion route.
Option B — Email request: Email john@gmail.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account".
Option C — In-app (planned): A self-service "Delete account" control in the app is planned. ⚠️ It is not yet implemented; until released, please use Option A or B. [ACTION REQUIRED — build in-app deletion and update this section.]
We verify that the request comes from the account owner before proceeding.
3. What Gets Deleted
Upon a verified request, we delete or anonymise your personal data, including:
- your account and profile (name, email, phone, address, avatar);
- for Partners, your business profile and your product listings and images;
- your wishlist, saved events, and event reminders;
- your push notification tokens and in-app notifications;
- your authentication record (Firebase) associated with the account.
4. What May Be Retained
Some data may be retained or anonymised rather than fully erased where necessary to:
- preserve the other party's transaction records (orders, requirements, reviews already linked to completed transactions);
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory obligations;
- resolve disputes or enforce our agreements; or
- prevent fraud and abuse.
Chat messages already delivered to another user may remain in that conversation. Residual copies may persist briefly in backups before they cycle out. See Data Retention Policy.
5. Effect of Deletion
- Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Partners: any orders in progress should be completed or resolved with customers before deletion; deletion does not cancel obligations you owe to customers.
- You will lose access to your history, listings, messages, and saved data.
6. Timing
We aim to complete verified deletions within a reasonable period and within any timeframe required by law. within 30 days
